We want Ruby Ranch to provide kids with the opportunity to free play, build with their hands and interact with animals at every class we offer. We want to teach kids about the farm, how to safely handle tools and let their creativity shine during our classes. Sign up for classes/camps below.
Summer Camps 2026 go LIVE on March 7th at 9:00am!! Camps are for children ages 5-11. We also are hiring Junior Camp Guides again this year for ages 12-18 years old! This is a volunteer position for young leaders in our community that enjoy working with kids, being outdoors and around animals. At Ruby Ranch we emphasize the importance of being outdoors and engaging in hands-on experiences and exploration. We encourage all campers use their five senses to learn and discover. During their time we will focus on respecting each other, the animals, the plants and ourselves. At every camp we will spend time interacting with the animals, playing games/scavenger hunts and making crafts. Each of these events will directly correlate with the camp’s theme! We offer small camper to staff ratios, daily farm adventures, and nature discoveries make camps a fun and engaging introduction to life on the farm. You may sign up for one camp or all 9! We also have automatic discounts set up so if you buy more, you save more. This applies automatically for siblings attending the same camp and/or purchasing multiple camps!
All camps are ONE day from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Campers will bring ONE SNACK and their LUNCH. We will supply the afternoon snack!
Fun on the Farm with Big Gain - $75
June 9th or June 10th for ages 5-11

Fun on the Farm is the heart-and-soul camp where children experience real farm life through hands-on care, outdoor exploration, and joyful play with the magic of all the baby animals! Campers help feed and care for the farm animals, snuggle chicks and ducklings, and learn about how baby animals grow and thrive. Each day blends meaningful chores, nature exploration in the fields and woods, farm-inspired cooking and building, and plenty of time to dig, create, and play. It’s messy, nurturing, confidence-building, and filled with gentle moments, big smiles, and unforgettable connections. This is where Dirt, Ducklings & Determination Grow!
Wild Wellness Camp - $85
June 16th or June 17th
Wild Wellness Camp blends hands-on survival skills with real-world first aid and natural remedies, giving kids the tools to stay calm, capable, and confident outdoors. Inspired by wilderness medicine and survivor-style challenges, campers build shelters, practice navigation, fire making skills, complete teamwork missions and learn how to care for scrapes, stings, and minor injuries using practical skills including exploring the natural healing properties of Manuka honey and other simple remedies. Through obstacle courses, problem-solving challenges, and wilderness simulations, children discover that strength isn’t just physical; it’s preparation, awareness, and the ability to help when it matters. This camp is active, empowering, and confidence-building, helping kids leave feeling resilient, resourceful, and ready for adventures!
all american camp with Hasse Family Farms - $105
June 23rd or June 24th
All-American Camp is a high-energy celebration of classic summer traditions, but Ranch style. Campers will ride, brush, and care for horses with a special visit from Hasse Family Farms, experiencing one of America’s most beloved traditions up close. Throughout the day, kids will receive a red or blue youth camp hat to customize and wear proudly during our All-American Ranch Games. There will be an action-packed series of team relays, friendly competitions, and red, white, and blue challenges filled with laughter and teamwork. The celebration wraps up with a classic Bomb Pop treat, sending campers home sun-kissed, confident and ready for Independence Day. It’s horses, hats, teamwork, and pure American summer fun, all in one unforgettable day at the Ranch!
Steel & Stone - $95
June 30th or July 1st
July 2nd for ages 3-6
Steel & Stone is a hands-on outdoor design experience where children become sculptors, engineers, and makers for the day. Campers craft metal wildlife nesting bundles filled with Ruby Ranch alpaca fiber to support local birds during nesting season. Throughout the day, children create stone and clay sculptures, explore different rock types and natural formations, experiment with balance and structural stability, and add artistic detail through stone painting and surface design. Campers will also break open real geodes to discover the hidden crystals inside! Using kid-safe tools and authentic materials, campers leave with meaningful, one-of-a-kind creations they proudly built with their own hands. It’s earthy, imaginative, and deeply satisfying.
Art with Heart - $95
July 7th or July 8th
Art With Heart Camp is a vibrant, outdoor creative experience where imagination, nature, and kindness come together in the most joyful way. Campers use the farm as inspiration, creating nature mandalas and charcoal sketches using natural and recycled materials. Doing yoga outside with the animals and then each camper also gets to take home their own 9.5x12 custom name wooden sign, designing their own artwork to showcase at the end of camp! Throughout the day, children experiment boldly with color and texture as they watch a live mural come to life on-site by Wild Goat Designs, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at professional artistry in action. This camp blends calm, focused art-making with big, expressive projects that let kids move, laugh, and get a little messy. It is perfect for creators, big-hearted kids and anyone who loves turning simple materials into something beautiful and meaningful.
foundation and forts built with nordaas - $90
July 14th or July 15th
Foundations & Forts is a hands-on construction experience where kids become real builders for the day. In partnership with Nordaas American Homes, campers collaborate to design and construct a creek bridge with local contractor Tony Bluth, while also building imaginative outdoor forts using natural materials: learning measuring, teamwork, structural stability, and tool safety along the way. Before the day ends, each child assembles and personalizes their own take-home birdhouse, applying the same foundational principles of balance and durability. Using kid-safe tools and real materials, this camp blends engineering with creativity, giving kids the confidence that comes from building something strong, useful, and lasting with their own two hands.
ELEVATE CAMP with MEI - $90
July 21st or July 22nd
Elevate Camp, in partnership with MEI Minnesota Elevator Inc., is a confidence-building outdoor experience where kids learn that success isn’t about hitting the target every time. It’s about adjusting, trying again, and rising higher after every miss. Campers rotate through safe, supervised skill stations including archery basics, BB gun target practice, and marshmallow shooter challenges, all designed to teach focus, discipline, and growth through practice. Inspired by cultures that value resilience and perseverance, this camp blends physical skill-building with mindset coaching, reminding kids that mistakes are part of learning and every setback is a chance to elevate. It’s active, empowering, and rooted in the belief that strong character is built one brave attempt at a time.
Clue Camp with Mankato Public safety- $85
July 28th or July 29th
Clue Camp: The Great Farm Investigation is an action-packed mystery adventure where campers train like real investigators while solving a farm-wide case alongside special guests from the Mankato Public Safety Each camper receives their own official code-cracking kit, complete with ciphers, decoding tools, and evidence logs to use throughout the day as they gather clues, analyze evidence, interview suspects, and race to uncover the truth. Through hands-on missions, obstacle challenges, fingerprint labs, and strategy-based team tasks, kids use both brains and bodies to solve the case. This immersive, high-energy experience builds confidence, critical thinking, and teamwork in a safe, exciting environment. It’s perfect for curious kids who love puzzles, action, and the thrill of cracking the case.
The Great Farm game Finale - $80
august 4th or august 5th
august 6th for ages 3-6
The Great Farm Games Finale is Ruby Ranch’s ultimate end-of-summer celebration. It's an unforgettable day packed with team games, splash challenges and joyful, screen-free fun. Campers are divided into colorful teams and rotate through high-energy water relays, obstacle courses, and cooperative challenges designed to build teamwork, laughter, and confidence. Between epic splash moments and surprise festivities, kids enjoy classic camp favorites, outdoor cooking, music and fresh-spun cotton candy. The day builds to one grand finale, a high-energy Color Splash Send-Off where campers gather for a music playing and burst into a celebration of color wars! It’s loud, it’s joyful, it’s just the right amount of messy and it ends with kids smiling, tired, and already asking if they can do it again next year!
