To register you will complete the form on the provided link. This will let us know your interest level. Once you register there is also one time $75.00 registration fee this will hold your spot and is non-refundable! It will go toward a water bottle and t-shirt for their school year!
Registration for 2023 is FULL and we are at capacity. Registration for 2024 goes live to current families first, then the waitlist form families, then it goes live to the public on April 15th.
Farm & Nature Based
We are located on 9 acres east of Pemberton. Little Rubies is a preschool program for ages 3-5. We emphasize social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth though experiential learning through animal interaction, garden time, pond exploration, walks through the wooded trails and using nature as our daily learning environment.
At Little Rubies - Farm & Nature Based Learning Center we use The Creative Curriculum for Preschool - 6th Edition. We take a lot of materials with us in our class wagon. This allows our students to spend a significant amount of time outside every day in large and small groups learning and exploring with nature. We can have a maximum of 14 students and 2 teachers, creating a 7:1 ratio.
We do have a daily schedule, but we also know that learning can happen at any time, so we just use this schedule as a guide.
We can do this!
We will spend our days exploring, playing and having fun. But a big part of our program will be pushing our youngest learners to be independent and responsible too! They will be part of daily farm chores with feed and water. They will help make snacks together by measuring and mixing. They will help eat, plant and harvest what is in the children’s garden. They will help with daily clean up both indoors and outdoors. They will put on and take off their gear daily. These pieces teach them that they are strong, smart and very capable children!
